Sunday 15 of February 2009, Vilnius University Emergency Hospital
I'm at the Neurosurgery department of the Vilnius Hospital. The night of Friday 13 of February 2009, 11:45 pm, I was shot in the head after a robbery, just out of a bus stop, not far from the very center.
I'm waiting for a trolley bus number 2 for going to Stotis (the station) after having dinner with a really cute Turkish girl. Her name is Ayfer, I met her in the student dorm a few days before. As I was partying the night before I take the decision to back to the Bed&Breakfast where I live while looking for a room in the city center. The number 2, lucky me, makes quite a journey until the Galiu stop which is just nearby Sodu Gatvie (Sodu's street) where my cool B&B is located. I'm actually a few minutes earlier to the second last journey, I can't wait to call a friend and then get some proper sleep. In the dorm I had some sticky spaghetti ketchup (a sin for an Italian), as I didn't want to add some oil to the water. Why without oil should they get sticky and become a sort of pie? But no, hell no, pasta is not the same all over the world!
I just saw a guy calling just out of my hospital room and this makes me slightly worries. I was on the papers and on-line as well, everybody knows how I am and in my stolen bag there was my "Survival Lithuanian" class homework, with clear mention of my actual Lithuanian address. I don't have internet connection and I do not know hoe much exactly has been publishes about my "adventure", so I'm considerably worried that those dudes might read my address in my notes to eliminate the possible witness of an attempted murder. Maybe even here in the hospital, as it happens in the movies.

If we do enforce our policies only against the weaker, we are just as evil as the criminal elites. But the truth is that sometimes we try to kill ideas, forgetting that David will eventually kill Goliath. Goodbye Aaron.
Obama made like Jesus (and Ra)

Obama is still compared to a Sun God by his own staff. Last 11 of February Time Magazine chose this picture for associating the quote of Obama celebrating the choice of freedom made by Egyptians. Obama is clearly surrounded by a Sun Crown that in our culture belong straight to the figuration of Jesus and Christian saints. Although, this symbol is coming from a much elder tradition and it's used for the representation of solar divinities, starting right from Amon-Ra in the ancient Egypt... The circle of history ;)
Summer shivers of political communication

Presidential blog and Twitter of Russian Federation show picture of Obama and Medvedev eating at Ray's Hell Burger. Forgetting about the choice of Hell, right where we are going, a quick look to the background complete the horror schema. Please enjoy the poster of "The cabinet of Dr. Caligari", 1920 movie playing with the twist ending to highlight the double side of the protagonists, where it's hard to distinguish between reality and hallucination. Hidden message or simply just some summer shivers of political communication?
